As you know Air USA, Inc began in 1994. The goal was to create a
company that would provide foreign military aircraft for the aviation enthusiast. We scoured
the world to find the best examples of foreign military aircraft that
would provide the enthusiast the excitement of owning the world's premier
aircraft. Since 1994, we have
done just that with over
20 aircraft flying today and many others in the rebuilding stage.
As Air USA gained experience with these reliable and versatile
aircraft, we began to see the benefits of offering the aircraft to the
various training facilities around the country. The reliability,
versatility, and low operating cost of our aircraft make them ideal for
commercial situations.
We have several hangars on the airport property that provide us the necessary
space to refurbish and maintain our aircraft. Our
aircraft inventory
includes the MiG-29, the MiG-21, the Aero L-39 and the Chinese built
CJ-6. Air USA is ready to provide our fleet of L-39 for contract
operations.
For contract operations, Air USA
can provide all the support required to maintain the highest
quality service Our goal is to provide this support with minimum
impact to the host.
Air USA can provide the highest
quality service because we have personnel overseas that are dedicated
to finding the best equipment and
spare
parts for our aircraft. Our
experience with the L-39 allows us to identify the inventory required
to keep our aircraft flying with minimum downtime. We have our inventory at our facilities in Quincy, Illinois and can move
any required parts to the job site via our own transportation or via
commercial transportation.
Once on the job, our factory
trained personnel will provide the highest quality maintenance.
First of all, the L-39 is one of the most reliable jet aircraft in
existence. When it does need maintenance, all significant parts
are easily accessible and downtime is minimal. One of our
strengths is that we have the only factory trained ejection
seat maintenance person in the
United States. In addition, Air USA is the source for new
pyrotechnics (pyro, rocket
motor) for the L-39 ejection system
and we are the sole source for the new parachute (front, side) designed
specifically for the L-39.
